Our Barn at Ednovean can only be described as an epic renovation! Spread over the last fourteen years we have concentrated on the gardens for the last four with the help of the professional garden designer Ian Lowe. Now romantic Courtyards filled with terracotta pots, stone planters, Lavender, Lilies, Box topiary and standard Bay trees, embrace a Box parterre and Fountain framed by date palms, fig and Olive trees.

The warm enclosed spaces filled with the scent of herbs open out on to a Terrace with sweeping views over Mounts Bay with St Michael’s Mount, opening to gentle lawns framing a Grass border, planted for our tenth Wedding anniversary, leading in turn to the Italian garden – as yet a fledgling layout yet to mature - of enclosed spaces, lawns, avenues and statues and a last surprise, concealed under an ancient bank, a Gravel border with a path winding through an exotic mix of succulents, Phormiums, Palms and grasses, basking in the Summers sun, meandering to four Olive Trees and a secret patio.

Each bedroom has its own terrace or Courtyard filled with Geraniums but throughout the garden secret corners hold table and chairs and simple benches to invite our guest to relax.
