If you wish to reserve a nomination for Danilon please complete and return the nomination form with the full stud fee. No semen will be sent out unless the full stud fee has been paid and the cheque cleared. Cheques should be made payable to C Taylor - we can accept all major credit cards.
Danilon’s introductory Stud Fee for 2007
£300 n.f.f.r plus charges for semen collection and transport.
For two mares or more belonging to the same owner, a £50 discount can be claimed for each mare.
N.F.F.R. A free return for the 2008 season will be offered on production of a vet’s certificate that states the mare is not in foal by October 1st 2007. Please note that this is the nomination fee only and does not include the fees due for the collection or insertion of sperm.
It is now the law that a vet or a qualified AI technician approved by Defra and the BEVA (Can be found on the BEVA website) is used for all Artificial Insemination.
Collection and Delivery Charges for chilled semen dispatched may be subject to revision so please confirm at the time of booking.
Postage can be guaranteed by the post office for the next day delivery @ approximately £16 The Post Office offer consequential loss should they fail. Delivery can only be guaranteed for Tuesday to Friday by the Post Office. Care should be taken to avoid Bank Holidays when booking.
Stud Livery charges
A limited number of mares may be accommodated at Ednovean Farm should the owner require. A clean swab certificate should be presented at the time of arrival along with a valid passport and full contact details. The mare should additionally be fully wormed with the hind shoes removed. It is preferable that she should be vaccinated against Flu and Tetanus. No mare will be accepted showing any other signs of contagious disease.
Grass Livery £25 per week per mare
Grass Livery with foal at foot £30 per week per mare
Plus additional charges for insemination, veterinary fees, farrier, additional corn feeds or any other requirements. Fees incurred by any professional employed in the impregnation of the mare on the owners behalf are the responsibility of the owner and will be billed accordingly by the professional concerned.
Please note we reserve the right to call the vet to any mare, in the interest of her welfare, without first contacting her owner. All cost thus incurred will be the responsibility of the owner.
We reserve the right to refuse difficult or dangerous mares and request that they are removed from the stud with all livery fees paid.
In every case all fees are to be settled in full before the mare leaves the stud.
